Description
This series invites participants into the less familiar Christmas stories in the Gospels, with this lesson focusing on the gifts of the Wise Men. The Gospel of Matthew doesn’t include many of the details with which young people are familiar – angels, mangers, shepherds – but includes this story. This lesson will help students wonder why, and what it might teach us about our relationship with God.
This lesson – packed with games, interactive activities, scripture exploration, and theological reflection – invites participants into considering the gifts they may have to offer, and what it means to offer them to Jesus.
